How much does solar cost in Phuket?
A typical residential rooftop system runs from around ฿120,000 for 3 kWp up to roughly ฿310,000 for 10 kWp, depending on equipment, roof type and whether you add battery storage. Commercial systems cost less per kilowatt as they get bigger.

How long does solar take to pay for itself?
Most well-sized residential systems in Phuket pay back in roughly 5 to 8 years. The single biggest factor is how much of your generation you use during daylight hours — solar saves you the most when you consume it directly rather than exporting it.
Businesses with heavy daytime loads such as hotels, offices and factories often see faster payback because they use nearly everything they generate.
Can I sell excess power back to the grid?
Yes. Under the PEA/MEA household rooftop scheme, residential systems up to 5 kW AC can export surplus power at ฿2.20 per unit on a 10-year contract. The scheme has limited total capacity and its own application process and fee.
We handle the paperwork for our customers and will tell you honestly whether exporting is worth it in your case — for most households, using your own power is worth considerably more than exporting it.
Do you cover areas outside Phuket?
Yes. We're based in Kathu and work right across Phuket and neighbouring provinces including Phang Nga and Krabi. Through our partner installer network we can also deliver projects elsewhere in Thailand.
Do you service systems installed by someone else?
We do, and it's a large part of our work. Many systems in Phuket were installed by companies that have since stopped trading or stopped answering the phone. We can inspect, repair, upgrade and take over monitoring of most existing installations.
What happens in the rainy season?
Output drops on heavily overcast days but does not stop — panels still generate in diffuse light. Southern Thailand gets more rainfall than the rest of the country, which is exactly why we size systems using conservative local yield figures rather than optimistic national averages.
It's one of the reasons an installer who actually works in Phuket will quote you differently from one who doesn't.
